TRAC OPTICS CORP.

Cookie Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026   |   Last updated: August 24, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Trac Optics Corp. ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on https://tracoptics.vision (the "Site"). It describes what cookies are, which ones we use and why, and how you can control them. This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy at https://tracoptics.vision/privacy-policy.

2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember your actions and preferences, and operate securely. Similar technologies include web beacons and pixels (small images used to record that a page or email was viewed), local storage (data stored by your browser), and device identifiers.

Cookies may be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.

3. Why We Use Cookies

  • To enable core Site functionality such as secure login, session management and the shopping cart.

  • To keep the Site and your account secure and to prevent fraud.

  • To remember your preferences and settings, such as language and currency.

  • To process transactions and administer orders and customer accounts.

  • To measure how the Site is used and how it performs, so that we can improve it.

We do not currently use cookies for third-party advertising, retargeting or cross-device ad profiling. If that changes, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required before setting such cookies.

4. Categories of Cookies We Use

Essential / strictly necessary cookies

Required for the Site to work. They enable page navigation, secure areas, account login, the cart and checkout, and protection against cross-site request forgery. These cookies cannot be switched off through our cookie tool, because the Site cannot function without them. They are set on the basis of contractual necessity and our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Functionality cookies

Remember choices you make — such as language, region or currency — to provide enhanced, more personal features. Disabling them means these preferences will not be remembered between visits.

Performance and analytics cookies

Collect information about how visitors use the Site — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and whether errors occur. We use Wix's built-in site analytics and Google Analytics for this purpose. This information is used in aggregate to improve the Site. These cookies are set only where you consent.

Unclassified cookies

From time to time a cookie may appear that we have not yet classified — for example after a platform update. We review these periodically and update this Policy accordingly.

5. Cookies Used on This Site

The table below lists the main cookies used on the Site. Because our website is built on the Wix platform, Wix sets a number of cookies on our behalf; retention periods and cookie names may change when Wix updates its platform. The most current list is available in Wix's own cookie documentation, and through the cookie preference tool on the Site.

6. First-Party and Third-Party Cookies

First-party cookies are set by our Site (including by Wix as our platform provider acting on our behalf) and support core functionality and preferences. Third-party cookies are set by other organizations, such as Google Analytics and Stripe. We do not control how third parties use the information they collect; please review their own privacy and cookie policies.

7. Legal Basis and Consent

Where privacy laws require a legal basis for setting cookies, we rely on: contractual necessity and legitimate interests for essential cookies; and your consent for analytics and any future advertising cookies.

When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner explains our use of cookies and lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage individual categories. Non-essential cookies are not set until you consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie preference tool on the Site, by changing your browser settings, or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

8. How to Manage and Disable Cookies

  • Cookie preference tool: use the cookie settings link on the Site to change your choices at any time.

  • Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings — see the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. You can also use private/incognito browsing.

  • Device controls: mobile operating systems provide settings to limit tracking and reset advertising identifiers.

  • Google Analytics opt-out: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available from Google.

  • Advertising opt-outs: if advertising cookies are ever used on the Site, you may also opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada (youradchoices.ca), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (youronlinechoices.eu).

To remove cookies already stored on your device, clear your browser's cookies and cache through its settings.

9. Consequences of Disabling Cookies

Blocking essential cookies will prevent the Site from working correctly — you may be unable to log in, add items to your cart, or complete checkout. Blocking functionality or analytics cookies will not stop you from shopping, but preferences may not be remembered and we will have less information with which to improve the Site.

10. Cross-Device and Cross-Site Tracking

We do not currently combine cookie data across devices or websites to build advertising profiles. Analytics providers may use identifiers to recognize returning visitors on the same device. If we introduce cross-device tracking or advertising partners in future, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where the law requires it.

11. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly use cookies to collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete the information.

12. International Transfers

Information collected through cookies may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, Israel and the European Union, where our service providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses. See the International Transfers section of our Privacy Policy for details.

13. Third-Party Service Providers

The providers that may set or read cookies in connection with the Site are: Wix (website hosting and e-commerce platform), Google Analytics (site analytics), and Stripe (payment processing and fraud prevention). Each operates under its own privacy and cookie policies.

14. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights in relation to information collected through cookies — including the right to withdraw consent, to access or delete your information, and, under the CCPA/CPRA, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. See our Privacy Policy for how to exercise your rights.

15. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, our service providers, or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on the Site with an updated "Last updated" date. Where required, we will ask for your consent again.
